Fine Folk recently added brunch to their menu offerings and it is an absolutely delicious experience! David ordered the brunch burger, while I got the BLT salad with a side of hashbrown casserole. I love Fine Folk for a laid-back, yet unique dining experience. I love the natural light in the space and the interior decor is such a vibe. Definitely make a reservation here for your next brunch!

NOFO at the Pig is located in the former Piggly Wiggly building in Raleigh’s 5 Points neighborhood and offers a great brunch menu and a fun market to browse either before or after brunch. I recently went with friends and our favorite dishes included the buttermilk fried chicken salad, shrimp and grits, fried green tomato sammies, and the omelet. There is also patio seating for when the weather is nice!

NoFo at the Pig is located at 2014 Fairview Rd, Raleigh.

Plates Neighborhood Kitchen offers such a wonderful seasonal brunch menu! Be sure to make a reservation because it is a popular spot, especially with the huge patio. Whatever you do, order the deviled eggs! They are so darn good! While I am always in for a savory breakfast sammie, the crab cakes benedict will be what I order next time I visit for brunch!

Rosewater Kitchen opened in the Fall of 2019 in North Hills’ Midtown, and wow is it a beauty! The food is equally tasty and feels like you’ve been transported to a European café. I met my friend Clarke here for brunch one day and we had the most leisurely, lovely experience. On warmer days, their patio is absolutely stunning. Check out their brunch menu here.

Rosewater Kitchen is located at 110 Park at N Hills St, Raleigh, NC.

One of my favorite hidden gems in Raleigh is Smoke Stacks Cafe. They post their menus on their website each day, so be sure to check their social media channels for what they’ll be serving. One consistent item on their menu is their deviled eggs and they are delicious! When I had brunch with friends, they had buffalo soft-shell crab sandwiches and a grilled chicken wrap on the menu and both were delicious! P.S. As long as St. Roch is open, it will forever be one of my top recommended places. I generally gravitate toward those savory dishes, and the Carolina Calabash with fried shrimp served with lots of things, including crawfish hushpuppies, is a must-order! I will also always order the pimento’d oysters here, so we got those as well. And while I am not much for a sweet tooth, I will not miss the beignets at St. Roch!

St. Roch is located at 223 S Wilmington St, Raleigh.

This gem right in the heart of downtown Raleigh offers a beautiful patio, a bright interior, and a delicious brunch menu! Davidlovesmonkey bread, so it was non-negotiable to start with this dish. Honestly, the texture of this dish was unlike any I’ve had before in a good way. David had the fried chicken sandwich and I ordered a smoked turkey wrap both with home fries. I also really enjoy their bread & butter BLT!

My friends at Wye Hill offer an amazing brunch with the best view of the city! Clarke and I met here and were treated to a wide sampling of their brunch menu. We started with deviled eggs because duh, and then tried the mushroom omelet, the apple butter French toast, and then we each had a breakfast sandwich. My friend, Clarke, opted for the bacon, egg, and cheese while I went with the BLT, served with a fried egg. This is our go-to spot for brunch after we hit the Raleigh flea market and their brunch burger and BLT are favorites of ours! Note, that their menus are seasonal, so what you see online is their sample menu.

Wye Hill is located at 201 S Boylan Ave, Raleigh, NC.
