"College is where every lesson learned is an experience earned and every experience earned is a lesson learned."I have come to an end to my second year in college, with every step taken forward I have learned something new or just refreshed an old learning and also gained experiences in the process building memories within. In this two years of my college I have learned how to be in your own without the shadow of your parents of course not completely but partially as I stay in hostel, it is the fine-drawn mixture being in restrictions but also being independent, our judgement in everything we do allows us to know where to limit ourselves and where to not!I have seen myself limiting from things I want to do or I have to do and also have done things off limit (maybe not for others but for me) like travelling to places, making affirmative decisions, speaking publicly, interacting with new people all around and trying to make myself better with every small step, trying to make myself better than yesterday. Here some tips to upcoming graduates:→ Never stop doing what you love or where you find your kick. When in college, we get a wide exposure of things to learn or we get attracted to new things which we want to pursue as we get motivated and leave or forget about the things we usually loved to do and at the end you are doing something you don't like very much. So, always save some time for what you like doing. And who don't really know what you like, you need to explore; there is always something that would be just "your thing"!→ Never keep your academics aside.Learn what's going on in the class, take proper notes, and if you are not getting the time to attend your classes properly due to your extra-curricular, just study yourself because the stuff being taught might seem irrelevant now but if you want to pursue what your degree is about then you should definitely consider being serious.→ Always grab the opportunities.Never miss opportunities as it is better to face a new thing than not even giving it a try. Always believe in growing yourself and letting others grow too. Learning somethings from others and sharing your knowledge too. Here's to an upcoming session, a going to be more happening years to come. A new journey with a fresh start. #BTech #Milestone #AchievementUnlocked #HalfwayThere #Collegelife #LearningJourney #GrowthMindset #FutureReady #GraduationJourney

"Quality is more important than quantity. One home run is much better than two doubles." -Steve JobsWhen you are starting your college life its not important how much experiences you earned but what experiences you earned. The first year of your college or the first time of anything, it can be your "the first" second year of college or "the first" third year of your college... everyone experiences something new and everyone has to improve in something they are already doing. Everyone is a fresher for a particular time. When you start your "first time", you have two choices (considering you are serious about your future and at the same time you want to do things out of your limits):▶ Approach 1: You chose multiple things apart from your own discipline, now you are left with no time to invest in your skills of interest but but.. it doesn't stop there! It has benefits too like you make connections, you are really outspoken now, gained a positive amount of self confidence, you are very good at time management and gained a lot of experiences that would last for a lifetime. Although, you have learnt a lot of things partially, and now you are confused what you are good at.▶ Approach 2:You just chose the things that are related to your own discipline so now you are actually doing the things which will only give into your skills of interest and you chose to be good at only one thing because you are sure about what you want to be good at. Both approaches are as good but has its pros and cons. It's just your choice how you choose your first time.Extra points for all the freshers a.k.a my juniors now:> You can use your first year to get most out of it, experiencing all the new things out there, enjoying and wasting time but always remember there is someone out there working harder than you and then don't question, why they and not you.> Don't fall for paid course that come to you through college groups, or classes to advertise guaranteeing about internships. There are a lot of free courses out there like Coursera and there are hundreds of YouTube videos with full playlists if you want to learn something. And if you want certifications then you can just get it through "Swayam" portal from where you can get government recognised certificates.#goodQualityExperiences #believeInYourself #keepGoing #YouCanDoIt #strength #firstyear #freahers #college #collegeLife #firstTime

They say hairs hold memories...Yes, I got a new haircut and with it I am embracing myself to a fresh start. A fresh start in growing myself, externally and internally. Letting go off the negative experiences and failures I may have faced, yet holding onto the learnings I acquired. If you are not turning down stuff that excites you like scrolling onto Instagram reels or YouTube shorts, playing video games (until its your job or passion for that instance), watching your favourite Netflix series or whatsoever, then you are just ignoring things that matters, you are just getting away from your real goal and if you don't have one you should set one because having a goal is what makes your life meaningful. According to me as a B.Tech student, -> "Change is the only constant in life." In this era of emerging technology, it is all about evolving yourself. Always, keep keen interest in learning new things and making it a habit to learn at every stage or age and make yourself suited to every change.-> Stepping out of Comfort Zone.A change in life may take you out of your comfort zone but at the same time, it is an encouragement to take further steps towards growth and new experiences. -> Letting go off particular habits. To adapt into a change, we always have to let go off being adamant or sticking to certain unhelpful habits.-> Encouragement for ongoing improvement. When we start learning or doing anything, there should be something that we can set as a remainder to continually work on ourselves like a piece of note or a just a silly object which hold memory.-> Consider giving yourself a break. If you feel out of place, it's always right to take a break. Taking a break doesn't mean you distract yourself with scrolling reels and stuff but instead trying out meditation and other activities that makes you thoughtful, or just talk it out with someone whom you feel comfortable to share your thoughts with. We always need a commitment to change for a greater good and I chose to cut my hairs. That's my way of embracing a change, what's yours?

Hello guys!! It's been a while since I last connected with you all, but today suddenly I got an exciting news as I woke up from a nap after my examination today... It was this information regarding me topping the NPTEL course on "AI in Marketing" which makes me trilled to share it in here. I am in my 4th semester that is 2nd year of my college JECRC University. This semester our academic course list included an open elective which we could take as in "online" or "offline".I choose "online" with a lot of my friends collectively and I choose the above mentioned course because my field of interest matches the contents and contexts of this course like how Artificial Intelligence can be useful in marketing strategies and management field, what we can add more to it and how it's been already used extensively in business by small local enterprises (like even a local store for example to initiate delivery and reach out to their customers) to large companies like YouTube, Amazon, Myntra and many more to name. Artificial Intelligence is already a very huge part in our lives today and it's going to be more impactful with each coming day, not only in the field of marketing but in every field as you may mention.I had a lot of fun and gained a lot of knowledge during my learning journey. It is a government initiated course which you can also take part if you wish so, on completion you gain credits in your "abc account" and enrollment is also free in any course you may want to apply in. For certification, you just have to apply for the examination with a basic registration fee. If anyhow you are interested, just go to the swayam portal provide by the .gov.in abbreviation in link. Hoping a great day for everyone! Kudos to all! ✨#learning #ai #marketing #management

Warm greetings everyone, I'm more than excited to share my coordination journey with you all guys. I recently had the opportunity to take on the role of coordinator for "Treasure Hunt" which is an event in the sports vertical of the 2024 annual fest of our college JECRC University called "Rhythm".This incredible journey allowed me to flex my organisational and management skills and showcase my passion for bringing people together. I had the opportunity to meet new people in my campus and upgrade my communication skills. From coordinating logistics and managing the volunteers to liaising with speakers and attendees and being the speaker at times, every aspect of this role has been both challenging and rewarding. One of the highlights for me has been seeing the event come together seamlessly, with each element carefully arranged to create a memorable experience for all involved. And finally at the end when you hear from the attendees and participants that your event was more fun than the others that makes you realise that your event has been a successful one. For those who came till here coorporating with my journey by actually reading it. Thank you for your patience, it really means a lot. Lots of love to all. <3Hope to see you all again soon. ✨

Warm greetings everybodyI am Monalisha Kalita, an undergraduate student pursuing computer science at JECRC University. Each day is a new beginning and this is the beginning of my journey at LinkedIn. So yeah, this is my first post introducing my very own culture. I am actually from the state of Assam and these pictures comprises of the serene nature of the Doul Govinda Temple situated at northern banks, on the foothills of Chandra Bharati hill at Rajaduar, North Guwahati. The temple is mainly devoted to Lord Krishna and there is also a Namghar along with the premises of the temple.Again, if you may ask! What is a Namghar?Well, a Namghar is a prayer house for worship by groups of people who are the followers of Ekasarana section of Hinduism (dharma which reduced focus on vedic ritualism and focuses on devotion to Krishna in the form of congregational listening and singing his name and deeds namely "kirtan").The whole concept of Namghar was mainly introduced by Sri Srimanta Sankardev. The Doul Govinda Temple is known for its holi celebration in the month between February-March engaged with various programmes and also a Special Ferry ride is made available but unlucky me who never could endeavour that. Still, is lucky enough to visit it.And the last, pictures full of rocks is the Krishna borkhi mara rock inscription which indicates the Assamese mythology that Lord Krishna when he was at his young age did fishing on the rocks where there was river water around. Overall, today was an amazing day which provided with a peaceful state of mind. That's it for today, see you soon. ✨
